Security Vulnerability Disclosures
Suspected vulnerabilities and security issues shall be submitted solely as described here. Do not file security reports with Client Support, through the support portal, by email or by chat.
The Blackboard Trust Center includes a Product Security page which includes our Vulnerability Management Commitment and Disclosure Policy, guidance for those who want to perform supplemental testing of non-production instances of our products. and a link to our Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP), which is our submission process for suspected vulnerabilities.
The VDP incorporates specific measures to protect the confidentiality of submissions while they are triaged and, where necessary, while vulnerabilities are addressed.
Note that the VDP includes specific Submission Guidelines which must be followed. Simply submitting the result of a scan without steps to reproduce is not sufficient.
